Bomberman 64, known in Japan as Baku Bomberman (爆ボンバーマン), is a 1997 action game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It is the first 3D game in the Bomberman series and follows the same basic gameplay as previous games, where the player controls a character named Bomberman who must place bombs to defeat enemies and clear levels. The game features single-player and multiplayer modes, as well as new features such as power-ups and the ability to fly. Bomberman 64 was well-received and has been followed by several sequels and spin-offs.
